The Somonauk High School sophomore class attended the Apprenticeship Expo on November 15. At the Expo trade union representatives from over 15 locals had hands-on displays, live demonstrations and virtual reality tools to bring to life the daily work of a construction trade professional. Students also engaged in a 30-minute classroom presentation about the value of apprenticeships as a post-secondary pathway.
