Somonauk High School

The National Honor Society came together with the Sandwich/Somonauk Quilt Guild on February 1st at the Sandwich Fire Department. The membership worked alongside the Guild tracing, cutting, ironing, and sewing. The guild taught the membership proper sewing techniques on fabrics that will become quilts sewn for US Military Veterans. These quilts will then be presented to Veterans at the Somonauk School District Annual Veteran's Day Assembly! This experience was one to remember. The joint efforts of all that participated willing to give of themselves and their time to those that were willing to give their all for their country.
