On March 7, a group of students attended the Automotive Open House at Waubonsee Community College in partnership with VALEES. The event provided students with the opportunity to explore career programs, tour the facility, and speak to industry leaders and college faculty in the fields of Automotive Technology, Auto Body, Automation Technology, Computer Aided Design & Drafting and HVAC.
Congratulations are in order to Juniors Caden Adams and Dante Frausto. They competed in the Illinois Esports State Championship and took 8th place from all competing high schools in the state of Illinois, and won 1st place in the small schools class!
Kudos to the SLS FFA! A great assembly kicking off FFA Week here at Somonauk HS. Great student body involvement, and way to go Freshman Class on the WIN!

Nothing Bundt Cakes orders have officially started!! The Senior Class is fundraising to assist in covering costs for their Chicago Cruise Senior Trip this Spring.
