The 7th grade boys basketball team played a hard fought game against Newark last night. The Bobcats led 16-14 going into halftime, but ultimately fell to the Vikings by a final of 32-22. Connor Knutson led the way offensively with 11 points and Wyatt Hannibal kept Newark off the boards with 5 rebounds. Kellan Howell and Carson Harper did a great job running the offense and Gabe Robledo brought great energy defensively. The team looks to get back in the win column Tuesday at Earlville

The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team opened up their season with a 46 -12 victory over the Paw Paw Bulldogs. Landon Johnson led all scores with 17; Tristan Reed had eight of his ten points in the 1st half; Caden Geers chipped in 6 points. The defense of the Bobcats dominated the Bulldogs with strong help side recovery from Brady Andrews and controlling of the boards by Owen Hopkins Jeremy Rominski and Alex Barnes. The Bobcats will face their rival Newark on Wednesday. Come out and support your Bobcats.

The 7th Grade boys basketball team opened up the season with a 44 to 12 win against Paw Paw. The Bobcats were led in scoring by James Havlicek with 9 points, followed by both Landon Barry and Connor Knutson with 6 points. Defensively, Evan Cappi, Gabe Robledo, and Wyatt Hannibal led the way, making it hard for Paw Paw to score. All around it was a great team win. The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday at home against Newark.

Last night the 8th grade volleyball team played against Newark and came up short in three games. The team ended the season with a record of 16-3 and second place in the conference tournament. Each girl improved greatly throughout the season and their hard work paid off. If you see a volleyball girl, make sure to congratulate her on a great season! All volleyball players, please remember to turn in your jersey to Coach Harner by Friday.

Last night our Bobcat soccer team won the Junior Ten Championship Game against Indian Creek! It was intense until the very last second, ending 2 - 1. Goals were scored by Brady Andrews and Preston Campbell. Tristan Reed had multiple saves - including one of his best this season! Indian Creek wanted the championship title as badly as we did, but every Bobcat wanted it more and ultimately outperformed them. They had an incredible season with a record of 17 - 2. Congratulations Bobcats!

Last night the 8th grade volleyball team played against Serena and beat them in two games. All of the girls did amazing. Kaydence Eade led the team in serves. Payton Reyes had many blocks on the net. Brooke Bahrey had great passes. Avery Charles and Bella Rolf led the team in kills from assists by Ady Werner. Since the team won, they are now playing Newark in the championship game! The game will be played at 5:15 at Paw Paw. Come support the team as they try to bring home 1st place in conference.

Last night your Bobcat soccer team played a fantastic game, defeating the Serena Huskers 5 to 0! Despite adverse weather conditions, the players looked sharp. Goals were scored by Caden Hamer, Brady Andrews, Landon Johnson and Preston Campbell. The defense and Tristan Reed were solid the whole game, never allowing a goal from the Huskers. Tonight they play in their final game of the season - the championship against Indian Creek! Wish good luck to your Bobcats today!

On Friday afternoon your Bobcat soccer team played their first postseason game against Paw Paw, winning 7 to 1! Brady Andrews led the team with four goals, Landon Johnson had two goals and Preston Campbell scored a goal. The defense held strong and Tristan Reed had three saves. On Friday, the 8th grade volleyball team played against Serena and had a tough battle. Serena won the first game, but the Bobcats fought back and won the next two games. Avery Charles, Kaydence Eade, and Bella Rolf lead the team in serves with 3 aces each. Overall, each girl showed great hustle and determination. The team's record is 14-2 making them the second seed as they enter the Conference Tournament this week. Make sure to wish a volleyball player good luck this week!

The 7th grade volleyball team had a close last game against Serena on Friday, but could not secure the win. All the girls did amazing! Shaynee King and Mikayla Wolf were flawless with their serves. Alina Joseph and Mia Perez made some great passes in the front row. They have shown many improvements and should be very proud of their season. Great work, Bobcats!

Landon Johnson tallied both goals for the team while Tristan Reed had seven saves.
